MX is being used for mail server connect for sending and receiving of emails. Are you able to receive the emails if you login to the webmail? By default, mail.yourdomain.com will work as both the SMTP and POP3 setting in your mail client. You may also run a check at http://www.checkdns.net/quickcheckdomainf.aspx if your MX is configured properly.
