upgrade MySql and PHP

Apparently because i wanted LXADMIN HIAB they had to install CENTOS 4.5 32bit for me so i ended up with older versions of mysql and php. hell my php wasnt even compiled with GD support mysql: 4.1.20 php: 4.3.9 on a side note, how come lxadmin is running on lighttpd while all the contents of my website shows its running on apache 2.0.52?

sorry that would be CentOS 4.1 64bit not 4.5 32. it wouldnt let me make chagnes to my post

Use yum list and see what all versions are available in yum.
