What cPanel are you running? EDGE, CURRENT or RELEASE? Also, have you tried the obvious: /scripts/upcp --force

Thanks Pat, we are running cPanel 11 current.

Well, there's obviously some files missing and I have yet to experience that with the CURRENT build. Your best bet is to force an upgrade, maybe even switch to the RELEASE build, and if that still fails submit a trouble ticket to cPanel.

Ok, we have the solution: The problem was that cpanel requires some postgresql libraries, which were not installed or missing. I had to install these, and then updated cpanel. This is the solution! Thank you Path,

Hi, I have the same problem, would you mind telling me what was missing? Thanks Milo

ewww, Im really getting fed up with cpanel lately, these upgrades are really becoming annoying when they break everything. I had the same problem so I tried a few different things to get it working, finally did. left auto updates on by mistake lo and behold this morning complaints about horde and phpmyadmin not working.

What issue were you experiencing with Horde? Is it logging people in and out, or just not working at all?

well before, was blank page, then that failed to include log error, then redirecting improperly. I notice too the cpanel php has problems with libmysqlclient. I finally fixed the horde issue by recompiling cpanel php, still get the libmysqlclient error. I just got auto updates off for now. Cpanel support is probably getting sick of me putting in tickets then fixing the issue before they look but I never had good luck with them. Lets hope it all straightens out.

Ok, cpanel tech support gave me this fix which seemed to work and everything is back to normal: Their fix: "We fixed it by copying over the binaries from /var/cpanel/3rdparty/bin to /usr/local/cpanel/bin/3rdparty for PHP"
