max_allowed_packet error

One of my client use VBB 3.6.7 and have error when try to attach file over 1MB to the board.He got datatbase error and following message Please note i set max_allowed_packet=16MB in my.cnf All replies are appriciated.

Did you remember to restart mysql after you edited my.cnf with the new setting?

yeah i restart mysql server but the problem still exist

besure to check the VB setting and try reloading mysql.

Have you set this for both the client and server in the my.cnf? http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.0/...too-large.html

vnsg, Did you try increasing the max_allowed_packet to higher value?
