VTigerCRM or SugarCRM ?

One is a customization of the other. SugarCRM is great, but a bit overkill if your are into any line of business OTHER than sales. As far as integration, I have worked with both and I found the main problem is getting people used to entering information in the system. Technically speaking, they are both on equal grounds as far as code availability, so it shouldn't be a problem to customize either of those. If you are just looking for a small CRM, then I would suggest having a look at Forte Solo

We have worked on customizing vtiger and found it quite simple. Not tried sugarcrm though.
