What is L0 backup? How is it taken? If I have to take an L0 backup of Windows 2003 server what should I do?

L0 = Level Zero = Full backup How you take it depends on what software you're using.

Can you name a few backup software available in the market to create L0 Backup for both Windows and Linux? Also, let me know if the Windows and Linux operating systems have such facililty built-in?

There's no simple answer, however: Windows Unix What you use will depend on what you're backing up to. Some are better are backing up to local media than others, some are only designed to work across a network, etc, etc.
