PERM_FAILURE: SMTP Error (state 14)
Posted by Fahd, 03-29-2008, 05:42 PM My mailserver has stopped accepting mail from all non-local domains. Emails are bounced with the following error: PERM_FAILURE: SMTP Error (state 14) I was unable to find any information on state 14. I am running exim 4.42 and I haven't made any changes recently that would cause this problem. Thanks for any help and/or direction.
Posted by uploadalerts, 03-29-2008, 10:51 PM If you are running cpanel, try 1) /scripts/mailperm 2) check if you are using relays.ordb.org if you implement RBL, if so remove relays.ordb.org 3) /scripts/eximup --force option 2 is irrespective of control panel
